Since 2002, we have produced hundreds of CME programs for specialists, primary care physicians and other allied health-care professionals.
Constantly evolving standards for the accreditation of CME programs means that our team is continually staying up-to-date and liaising with medical societies to ensure that our client's programs are compliant with these rigorous standards.
Our offerings include the design, production and execution of scientific symposia, advisory boards, iMediucs - our livestreaming KOL panel discussions, module-based accredited CME programs, large scale medical conferences and preceptorship programs for visiting physicians at some of of the leading medical schools in the world.
With close to 15 years experience, we've developed the experience and knowledge to offer innovative CME programs not available anywhere else. Our deep knowledge of key therapeutic areas, a well-established network of global KOLs and a corporate culture focused on innovation and customer service allow us to work closely with our clients to develop unique programs that distinguish them from their competitors in the eyes of their HCP clients.
Working closely with Bayer Canada, we've curated the Vascular Think Thank for three years in a row. A select group of global thoughts leaders in technology, business, neurobiology, medicine and leadership have come to Canada to spend half a day with Canadian KOL's in cardiology to discuss and exchange on key issues in medicine and leadership. This program has helped to distinguish Bayer Canada as a leader in cardiology.
Working closely with AstraZeneca Canada, we've produced the Endocrine Awards for three years in a row. The Junior Investigator and Diabetes Educator Awards were created to support research and patient education initiatives led by early career physicians, researchers and educators, and are open to healthcare professionals working within the scope of diabetes care across Canada. Selected finalists compete in a "Dragon's Den" style live event, in front of a national audience of their peers, for $72,500.00 in funding for research and projects. This program has helped to distinguish AstraZeneca Canada as a leader in diabetes.
Working in partnership with a consortium of sponsors and the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, EOCI has produced Hot Topics in Cardiology for three years in a row. This hybrid program combines the best of live and digital CME programming. Across Canada, key opinion leaders in cardiology lead a series of accredited symposia in front of a live studio audience of physicians. At the same time, these symposia are simulcast live to a national audience to allow physicians in remote regions to view the program on their computer or handheld device. Using EOCI’s innovative iMedicus platform, physicians viewing the program remotely can text in real time with the faculty and other physicians from across Canada.
In 2016, more than 800 specialists viewed (live and remotely) Hot Topics in Cardiology.
